SURGERY TIMES FOR PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY SHOW PDF Print E-mail

Next week I'll be at the Pembrokeshire County Show and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's going on.  There is always so much to see, do and delicious Welsh produce to taste!

Once again I'll be holding advice surgeries for constituents to pop in and discuss any issues with me.   I'll be at the Welsh Conservatives stand.

Wednesday 18th August @ 12pm

CLWB 60+ CLUB PDF Print E-mail
Clwb 60+ Club in Llangynin welcomed Carmarthen Assembly Member Angela Burns as guest speaker at their monthly meeting to celebrate being given a cheque for £2,960 from The Awards for All Wales. The club intend to use the money for trips out including a visit to Devils Bridge Railway and up to Cardiff for a performance of Mama Mia. Assembly Member Angela Burns kept them entertained with descriptions of how her young children love to bop around to Mama Mia and appear to know most of the songs. On a more serious note Mrs Burns also gave a behind the scenes talk on life as an AM, her work in the constituency and the highs and lows of the challenges some people face.

Angela Burns Assembly Member for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire recently spent a night out on the beat, pounding pavements in Tenby with local police officers on a busy Friday night.

 

Tenby on a Friday night can become a lively area with it's concentration of pubs and night clubs, and in order to ensure the safety and security of people the local police adopt a high visibility strategy visiting most of Tenby's nightspots to engage with landlords and clients.
